Growing Up WILD!
Pre-K to 2nd Grade Teachers
This nature-based early childhood program from Project WILD and the Council for Environmental Education offers low-cost, hands-on, active and thematic units that invite children to explore wildlife and the world around them. Participants receive a Growing Up WILD! activity book with more than 100 pages of lessons on art, music, movement, science inquiry, math, language and literacy connections.
In addition to Growing Up WILD! ASC will provide participants an in-depth session on how to develop engaging and age-appropriate learning expeditions to Adventure Science Center and how to incorporate that experience into your daily lessons.

STEM Boot Camp
3rd – 8th Grade Teachers
STEM Boot Camp is a week-long professional development experience focusing on building STEM content knowledge, use of applicable resources, and learning how to incorporate inquiry into classroom lessons. Each day includes small group activities, presentations, hands-on labs, demonstrations, reflection, and the use of applicable technology and science tools.

Moving Toward NGSS: Visualizing K-6 Engineering Education
Online short course
September 16 - October 4
Elementary teachers won't want to miss this opportunity to learn practical strategies for integrating NGSS engineering practices into the classroom. This three-week online short course includes live web seminars, discussion forums, and activities to try with students. Optional graduate credit is available.
